ABOUT STEPHEN BEUKES
With a Business Science degree (UCT) majoring in Human Resources and Industrial Psychology, I began my working life as a labour relations practitioner developing key skills in supporting executive decision making and facilitating the resolution of workplace conflict.
Having run a consulting practice and served in a range of leadership roles, I have a good sense of the challenges that face those seeking to lead sustainable businesses.
For more information on my professional experience please see my LinkedIn profile.
I am trained as an ontological coach having completed the 18-month Graduate Diploma of Ontological Coaching offered by the Ontological Coaching Institute in Australia.
My approach is informed by this and much of my material is adapted from content developed by Alan Seiler and others at the Institute. For more information see this link.
MEMBERSHIPS & ACCREDITATIONS
I am a member of both Coaches and Mentors South Africa (COMENSA) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and aspire to the code of ethics of both professional bodies.
Stephen is a thoughtful and persistent coach who uses powerful questions to help you dig deeply into issues that may concern you, to help you come up with practical ideas to move forward.
Stephen's coaching was direct, solution focused but also powerful! I gained perspectives that have been very useful far beyond the sessions that I could apply in different fields of my life.
My ability to lead and develop our staff and be a more competent director has grown.
